Brand Of The Year

What do you need to be a makeup brand of the year? Customer service, genuine love of the industry, products that live up to their claims, and most of all selection! Gosh fulfills all of these and more! They have amazing products, and literally everything you could need x-ceptional wear foundation, makeup stick, cover corrector stick, natural blush, touch up concealer, presous powder pearls, cover me mousse foundation, lift me up makeup, multi color blush, giant sun powder, extreme are eye liner, velvet touch lipstick, quattro eye shadow, gosh effect powder, eau de toilette spray, body wash, body lotion, body mousse, deodorant spray, eye makeup remover, face wash, pour elle rouge and pour elle bleu. With the range they cover, having everything from makeup to toiletries it would be hard to measure up with gosh.

These products are a little pricey in comparison to say covergirl but in comparison to MAC they are a fraction of the price and the quality you get is much closer to MAC while leaving covergirls products in the dust.

Something else I’ve learned to appreciate with gosh cosmetics is that all of their foundations and concealer and even some of their facial powders come with spf! This is really important for people who are looking to keep there skin looking fresh and young for years to come.

A few months ago I broke my GOSH sunkissed bronzer compact ($25), I dropped it on the floor and the pressed powder exploded. I emailed gosh telling them exactly what happened, and even though it was completely my fault they sent me a new one through the mail! Which just shows how much gosh truly does care about their customers and their makeup experience! This is why in my opinion GOSH is the makeup brand of the year!

EYE LINER~~~~

Every eye shadow should be finished with the right eye liner, color is important. You can match it with the eye shadow your wearing of use the suggested color to match your eye color. The suggested colors go as followed blue eyes wear brown, green eyes wear purple, brown eyes are lucky and can wear almost anything.

But the most important factor of eye liner, in my opinion, is the shape you choose to use. If you have big eyes you can use almost any shape, experiment and pick one that looks best on you. People with long skinny eyes look best with tortter, retro, galatico and pinup eye liner and of course everyone can pull off simple. Big eyes look best with adbo, and duran (my favorite). Small eyes should stick to simple eye liners because sometimes it just looks like too much.

Also your water line (the area between your lower lashes and your eye ball) should always be colored, small eyes should use white eye liner here because it makes the eye look larger, also this trick works good if you are feeling, and looking tired). Big eyes are safe to wear anything but its good to stick to your suggested color for your eye color or the color you choose to use on your eye lid.

product review: sally hansen airbrush legs

A few months ago I bought Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs too spray tan my legs while wearing a dress. I instantly fell in love with the product but the great thing is that it’s good for more than your legs which isn't what I originally thought or what it says on the bottle. After using it on my legs I had the bright idea to try it on my face which at first didn't work out so hot because it was splotchy and hard to apply evenly, so I went out to the hardware store and bought the smallest size paint roller. With this it applied perfectly even and looked awesome all over. The only down side was that you pretty much have to apply it everywhere that isn't covered by clothes, also it cost $17.99 a bottle and the bottle doesn't last long.

Makeup to the everyday girl is often considered a "waste of time" or a bother. I consider makeup more like magic; you can alter who you are or how you feel about yourself in a few minutes. People have always said to me when I was pondering what to choose as a post secondary education choice that I should "do what you love" and I could never think of anything that I love enough to wake up every morning and do all day. Then I had an epiphany that the only think I would like to do every day until I die is makeup!
